What we do
Everything below is done on-site. If a job genuinely needs a hoist or a dealer tool, we say so on the phone before we drive out — not after.
Prices are starting points for most four-cylinder and V6 passenger cars and light SUVs, parts included, labour included. Trucks, European makes and anything with a seized bolt gets quoted after we've had eyes on it. We take cash, e-transfer and card on-site.
How a call works
Four steps, and you're back on the road. Most bookings are same-week, and same-day if you call before noon.

You call
Tell us the year, make, model and what it's doing — or not doing. If it's a noise, describe the noise. We'll tell you straight away whether it's a driveway job or a shop job.

We quote before we drive
You get a range on the phone, and a firm number once the van is parked and we've had a look. Nothing gets replaced without your yes.

We come to you
Home, work, condo garage, street parking, the plaza lot where it died. As long as there's room to work safely and the car isn't blocking traffic, we can do it there.

You get the old parts
Everything we pull off goes in a box in your trunk unless you'd rather we take it. Receipt and a plain-language note on what was done, emailed or handed over on the spot.
Why people call us instead of booking a shop
Mobile One Auto has been running out of Scarborough since 2009. The van carries a full tool load, a scanner, a jack and stands, and the common parts for the makes we see most — so the majority of jobs are finished in one visit rather than two.
We're not a call centre and we're not a franchise. When you dial (416) 899-6884 you get the person who's going to be standing in your driveway, and that's the same person who'll tell you if a repair isn't worth doing on a car that's near the end of its life.
We work on most domestic and Asian makes — Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Subaru, Volkswagen. We're honest about the ones we don't: some European models need dealer-level software, and we'll point you to a shop that has it rather than guess.

Based at 4 Mansion Ave, just off Danforth Road near Warden. Most of our work is inside a fifteen-minute drive of the van's parking spot.
